SCULPTURAL, SYMBOLIC PORTRAITS OF 4 EXTRAORDINARY WOMEN
MB Norheim's four symbolic sculptural portraits are based on Dr. Elizabeth Cruz Petersen's research into extraordinary women from 17th-century Spain, who have a strong relevance today. Each woman has a unique story. The sculptures were featured in a performance at the Kirsten Kjær Museum, Denmark, by performing artist Sigrid N. Ørntoft.
MOVING MUSES is a tribute to creative power, rooted in a collaboration across artistic genres, time, and place. The aim is to create role models of forgotten women, who are timeless in their themes, and can serve as inspiration for women of all ages and from all cultures.
